Hey Troy, tell us a little about who you are, and what you do. I am a graphic designer born in Arizona, Lived in Seattle and now relocated to Fort Lauderdale. Typography and illustration is my thing. Growing up on a board nothing makes me happier than having the opportunity to work with the companies I would have never in a million years thought I would be.

How did you end up getting in to Graphic Design? Always an been into arts. I told my high school teacher that I was planning to be an art teacher too. She told me I would make a horrible teacher and that kinda stuck with me. I feel into the design thing when I was in college. I just never knew I would be doing this kind of design then.
There is a lot of competition in the Action Sports and Apparel market. What do you put into your work that seems to resonate with these companies, and does it just come natural to you to do this type of work? I am very passionate about what I do and I think that shows in my work. Seeing myself as a graphic designer and not necessarily as an illustrator has allowed me to be more flexible in my approach to solving visual problems. I am able to take direction and blend in with the look that an art director wants for the piece or season.

Are there any artists out there whose work you are a fan of? Do you have any of their pieces in your personal collection? Aaron Horkey, Kelsey Brookes, Shepard Fairy, Eric Adorn, Jim Phillips, Rick Griffen, Andy Howell, Wes Humpton, Jeff Staple, Joshua Smith, Pushead, Sean Cliver, Craig Metzger, Steve Caranza, Matt Alvarez- Ok the list could go on and on. Yes - I own a few pieces from some of these artists.

Do you have time to do personal work, and if so what can we expect from Twhite in the future? Not as much as I would like. Expect? well I hope to have some sort of line together by 2010.

Lastly, do you have any advice for the next generation of designers coming up? Work hard.. do whatever it is you like doing.
